AI Operations & Enablement Intern
Job Description:
Location: Zurich · Contract: 40%-60% with flexible duration (min 6 months) Rate: CHF 30/hour · Start: ASAP / by arrangement
Role Overview
As an AI Operations & Enablement Intern, you will play a central role in turning the AI tools and automations Rivero already relies on into shared, well-governed company infrastructure. Your work will span research, prototyping, and hands-on build-out, from evaluating an internal knowledge-management system to tracking automation usage and closing the feedback loop.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks
- Research, prototype, and help select an internal "second brain" / knowledge-management system for the company
- Help move automations and "skills" that today live on individual laptops and personal AI accounts into a shared, company-owned, version-controlled repository with a real handover process
- Build lightweight usage monitoring across our automations, tracking which ones are active and how often they run, so we know what's working and what could be improved.
- Design a feedback loop so any team can flag quality issues with an automation and get it routed to whoever owns it
- Support a move toward provider-agnostic tooling, so our automations aren't locked into a single AI vendor
- Get hands-on with further real-world use cases — e.g. compliance/contract-review support, HR onboarding automation, or customer-support and meeting-intelligence agents for our product teams
What We Are Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if:
- You're currently studying Computer Science, Data/AI, or a related technical field (Bachelor's or Master's)
- You're genuinely curious about and hands-on with modern AI tools — agents, coding assistants, automation frameworks. You follow the latest developments and AI usage patterns.
- You have solid software fundamentals and you're comfortable with git; cloud knowledge is a plus.
- You have a structured, process-oriented mindset; you'd rather build a system than ship a one-off script
- You're comfortable taking a loosely-scoped, week-sized task and driving it yourself with minimal check-ins
- You're fluent in English and based in or able to work from Zurich
What We Offer
- CHF 30/hour, flexible around your semester schedule
- Real ownership; your work becomes infrastructure the rest of the company relies on
- Direct exposure to how a fast-moving fintech uses AI in production, across engineering, compliance, and operations
- Mentorship from our engineering team
- A possible path to a longer-term role
Additional Requirements:
- This is a hybrid role based in Zurich.
- Candidates must currently hold the right to live and work in the EU/EFTA area.
